Sounds like a minor problem to some people but we didn't have jobs to worry about or school age children in the home. These have certainly been trying times and I feel for the folks who have lost loved ones, jobs and businesses.

The Urban Farmer just listened to Jim on Fox59 weather and he said it will be 50 degrees tomorrow. We are having some strange weather. The chickens will be happy tho as three of them have been molting and have bare skin. Poor girls!

Happy New Year! We had some business that had to close and schooling was at home. We had no lock downs here - where you couldn't go out - we just used good judgement.
I do miss seeing a lot of the family and hugging. I did go out occasionally and abiding by COVID protocols. I was content knowing that I could go and do things and had a choice. I did not like it when we were really closed down and restricted. I saw no reason why our local state parks were closed and we could not walk there or sit on a bench......but I got over this and moved on. Hopefully life will be able to open up so that peoples lives can get back to normal and kids to school, etc.
Happy New YearNd thank you for your insights and wisdom.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10802016774109835572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-49037497703179371952020-12-31T07:10:57.258-05:002020-12-31T07:10:57.258-05:00This year did not bother me as much as it did othe...This year did not bother me as much as it did others as I usually live this way on a regular basis. I stay home unless I need to buy groceries, I don't spend money to pass the time, I always plan ahead and have adequate supplies in my home, I always entertain myself and not depend on material things for entertainment, and I always try to help others. Maybe that is why this year has not bothered me. I do feel bad for the people who have lost their jobs and livlihood. But we all have to continue on being able to help ourselves and not bitter at what life has afforded us. Maybe living as a widow, I have learned just how precious life is and plan to enjoy it. Your positivity is wonderful and I am so glad you are coping. God Bless and Happy New Year!!!!LyndaTreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02428090447842948193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-61020445966721098222020-12-31T06:30:48.786-05:002020-12-31T06:30:48.786-05:00Thank you muchly! I do know ...I really wonder what exactly normal is. I do know that my normal is not what others would consider to be normal. Actually, other than the wearing of masks this past year has been pretty much my normal. I freeze, can, make sure my pantry is stocked, read, knit, sew, and have our boys come to visit. Not much changed this year, other than me reaching out to those in need.

God bless.Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16051183778965359500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-89619472078634030762020-12-30T17:18:14.417-05:002020-12-30T17:18:14.417-05:00Agree, As I age and semi retire with little incom...Agree, As I age and semi retire with little income I have let go of the jealousy and envy I have had of others more fortunate than me, and the last year I have come to terms with enjoying every little bit of life. The small things like reading a book that I didn't
enjoy but was thought provoking, the pleasure of savouring a nice cup of tea each morning. LIVING well is going to be my 2021.
JaaneyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04359694967576509166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-6685640712969207242020-12-30T15:30:44.768-05:002020-12-30T15:30:44.768-05:00Amen indeed!
