She bought zucchini plants and they were further along than my late starts. Her garden is amazing, so much further along that I expect some zucchini from it next week. I will water again. They mulched with grass clippings, thought it would leach nutrients but they just burnt and dried and are really very effective at keeping most weeds down.EllenMBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16862195995276660737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-51413777749518073042016-06-28T12:02:53.233-04:002016-06-28T12:02:53.233-04:00Ooohhhhh I wish I had gifts like that appear on my...Ooohhhhh I wish I had gifts like that appear on my doorstep! what kind neighbors.Cheryl Kimbleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06485771676254429681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7341912661779864632.post-50046537047596765242016-06-28T09:52:44.737-04:002016-06-28T09:52:44.737-04:00I have one vine plant and don't know if it is ...I have one vine plant and don't know if it is squash or not, and it is tiny too, will be eager to see what it produces! That jalapeno popper one looks amazing and my DIL Heather is going to love it!

My squash plants are still itty bitty, but one of the yellow squash plants has a flower on it. I'm afraid it the squash does mature it will be bigger than the plant itself! Our weather is hitting the upper 80's and 90's now so hopefully the plants will begin to grow more.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449564619872452771noreply@blogger.com
