DID YOU KNOW???
ALDI now takes charge cards. They take Visa, MC, AmEx, and Discover.
This may make it easier for people to shop, who don't always carry cash with them.
I am hoping that it doesn't make prices go up.

Next week I will be doing posts on the many health benefits of vinegar for the body and the home.
I will also be doing a post on foraging your own yard for edible plants!

DON'T FORGET TO "SPRING FORWARD" THIS WEEKEND. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS IN THE WEE HOURS OF SUNDAY MORNING.

ALWAYS REMEMBER
Success comes from failure. We often times look or feel silly when we goof up - but it's ok. Just get back up and try again. The only REAL failure is never trying.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
I saw that about Aldi's and I bet the prices do rise! Our loss! Convenience always comes with a price!
ReplyDeleteI've been keeping to an early rise schedule this week to forestall the effects of the clocks springing forward - let's hope Monday won't bring baggy eyes and saggy postures!
Good idea!! It always affects me for a few days - crazy huh? You wouldn't think one hour would make a difference.
DeleteDear Cheryl, Here in Australia Aldi take credit cards and have done for ages. They charge a fee for use around 0.5% of purchase total I think it currently is. This is a cost passed on only to the person using a card which has not affected the overall costs to everyone else. It is only 50c over a $100 order, which is not much if you really need the convenience. It is only credit cards, not debit cards that pay the loading here at Aldi. Regards, Kaye.
ReplyDeleteHi Kaye. Thanks for the info.
DeleteAldi has been cash and debit card only here until about 2 weeks ago. I was hoping that maybe they would charge the individual the fee instead of everyone having to pay for that option.
Thanks for stopping by. Please come again!
Hi Kaye, thanks I hope that will be the case here too! - e.
