Just a short note to wish you all a wonderous and Merry Christmas. I hope you all get to spend time with family and friends, and if you wish to spend the day alone - I hope you do whatever makes you feel warm and cozy inside.
I say Merry "Christ"mas, as I am a devout follower of God and Jesus Christ - I know not everyone has my beliefs, so I wish you all a very blessed day if you believe something different.
I wish for happiness, health, safety and good cheer to all who are reading this.
Cherish all that you have and everyone that you have. Life changes quickly, and we all need to let people know that we love them. Make your season bright and loving.
Stay safe on your travels. I love you all and thank you for being here with me.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
Merry Christmas to you Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteThank you - enjoy your day!
DeleteYes, Merry Christmas, Cheryl! Thanks for your *faith*ful postings. My Christmas will be different this year: dear son has flu going around at his house, so we'll regroup later. It's ok, I've laid by a treat for myself for tomorrow and am well stocked with things to do and enjoy. :)

Family sickness can change things. Every day is Christmas to me - to celebrate on a different day is just fine.
DeleteHave a wonderful day!
Merry Christmas, Cheryl! I am a Christian (not a church goer, however) and I pray every day. But I like that you recognize and accept that many have different views. I’m going to watch King Charles’ Christmas address this morning and one thing I really admire about him is how he tries to bring all faiths together. I will be with my good friends tomorrow. Enjoy your time with family.
ReplyDeleteGetting ahead of myself. King Charles address is on Christmas Day, not Christmas Eve.
DeleteI am not a church goer either. You can pray anywhere. The earth is my sanctuary.
DeleteI figure we all have different beliefs, but we still all believe in a higher power. When we are good and wholesome and love people, and wish no harm - I am good with that.
Enjoy your viewing and your friends!!!!
Merry Christmas,Cheryl and all the family of readers here! Wishing you all many blessings!
ReplyDeleteThank you and the same to you and yours!
DeleteMerry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteand you are a good example for all of us.
Thank you Donna. I just try to do what I believe we should.

Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe celebrate the Christmas season which runs until the Epiphany.
Mom was hospitalized for months at a truly horrible place. I'm talking lawsuit level horribleness. Despite their efforts mom has perservered. Thankfully, she was finally moved to another hospital that is SO much better. She was finally able to speak on Monday her 90th birthday!
Unfortunately. I'm ill and can't visit her. Not sure I'll even be able to go to church tomorrow. Various family members are sick too so our Christmas Eve and day may be different.
But despite all that's happened I am thankful.
Merry Christmas everyone!
I am so sorry your sweet momma had to go through that. There is no excuse for anyone to treat another that way - let alone the elderly or a child. I am so glad she has improved. Maybe you could speak to her by phone? Happy 90th to you momma.
DeleteSorry illness has fallen on you and other family. You can gather on another day. Thankful and blessed!!!!!
Thank you and to you.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Blessings to you and yours and happiness to you all.
DeleteMerry Christmas Cheryl. I hope you have a lovely time.
