Thank you all so much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. My sis passed yesterday afternoon at around 4:30PM. It was quiet and peaceful. From what I understand she never awoke after I was there. So, I am even more grateful for the eyes opening and her saying "my sissy".
She is at peace now and is healthy and with all our loved ones gone before and the Lord.
We talked with my nephew about 5PM and he said, I sure would love to see what she is seeing now!
So many fun memories and fun times. In the past few years, she and I have gotten closer. She always lived far away when I was younger. She told me she could tell me things and discuss 'private' stuff that she just couldn't or wouldn't talk to her daughters about!! I will miss that for sure.
Love you MARCELLA, see you again someday.
4/5/31 - 7/5/26
Made it to 95 years young!

Oh, Cheryl I am so sorry for your loss. I just cannot imagine losing either of my sisters. You were such a strength to me after Joel's death, and I owe you so much. I just hate to think of you grieving. Bless you
ReplyDeleteYou are too kind. Every time we lose someone, it seems like it is the worst. Parents, siblings, spouse, children (I can't even imagine that). Yet the Lord gets us through - I would be so lost without faith. He holds me up!
DeleteThank you so much.
Sorry for your loss and I will be sending healing sparkles to you so that your heart hurts a bit less. Hilogene in Az.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I think I can feel them!!!!
DeleteSo very sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you very much.
DeleteWhat your nephew said is the best thing. Imagine what she is doing right now. Thinking about what a loved one is experiencing in heaven has always given me comfort and something good to focus on. I will pray for you and all who knew her. Hugs to you. Linda T
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. We can only imagine, and our imaginations are not remotely great enough. It has to be awesome.
DeleteI'm so sorry, Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
DeleteSending you lots of good wishes to get you through the next little while. Gods love will watch over you and knowing that your sister has been reunited with your parents and your brother in heaven will keep you strong. Your faith is a blessing at this sad time. Take care, Louise and Linda.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Faith is all we have - it sure has held me up through much in life.
DeleteMy condolences to you and your family for your loss. Losing a sibling is losing a bit of your history. You are in my prayers.Lynn, Pecos, NM
ReplyDeleteThank you. It sure is a piece of our history - she had such a good and long life - been a part of every one of us from the day we were born!
DeleteYour family must spread a wide year distribution like mine, 20 years between oldest and youngest. Siblings sure hold special places in our hearts. Our older siblings always knew us. My sympathies to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteYes, she could have been my mom! She had 3 children before I was born. Of course I was the oops (menopause baby)!! There was a 24 year difference between us. Each of the rest of us have had her every day of lives!
DeleteThank you so much.
