Hello to all. It is another chilly morning here. Looks to be a sunny day, but staying a bit cooler in the mid 60's. I think the weekend is going to be lovely. Many in the northern part of the state may have gotten a little frost last night. Nothing here - and doubtful we will get any at least for the next week or so. Fine with me!
I came across this little diddy and it made me chuckle a little too much and say 'hmmmm'. Thought you may enjoy it as well. It says 'only' in America - well, that may not be true - it could be other places as well.

Only in America ...do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Only in America .....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Only in America .....do banks leave vault doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
Only in America .....do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
Only in America ......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
Only in America ......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?
Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?
Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?
Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport, the terminal?

Hard to believe we are approaching another weekend. I hope whatever plans you have this weekend are fun, productive and just enjoyable. I wish all of our Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving and a great weekend of food, friends, family and socializing.

Love the “Only in America” and so true! I can attest to the power of friendship in the kitty poster. We are finally going to get some cooler weather this weekend and I’m looking forward to it! I’m going to work outside which is my happy place.

DeleteOnly in America covers Canada as well. Though I can answer the one about the vault being left open - it's because everything within the vault is double locked so it is as secure or more so than that silly pen. :)
