Good morning all. I hope this finds you all safe and healthy my friends.
It is a windy, windy day here. We reached our high around midnight - will be in the 30's all day. That looks to be the normal temps for at least the next week - yeah, winter is here!
It will be a busy travel time this week, and I hope you all stay safe and have a wonderful time.
I am thankful for all the things I have. My home and a warm bed and food for my table.
I am blessed in so many ways, that I cannot mention them all. Blessed in every way.
Thank you, God.
I am grateful for each of you. So many are so loyal and are here every day. I am not sure how that happened, nor how people found their way here.
I am so thankful that you all did.
I am grateful for all the kind words, friendships, love and help that everyone offers, not just to me, but to others.
THANK YOU - we are 'family'.
Enjoy your holiday.

Among many other things, I’’m grateful for your wonderful messages. Blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving. Lynn, Pecos, NM
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn. I am so glad you found your way here. Enjoy your day as well.
DeleteYes!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving Cheryl! I'm thankful for the same things you have mentioned and also grateful for your blog that I've followed for a few years now. Your posts are always inspiring and keep us all connected. Stay warm - sounds like winter has arrived there. I'm in Arizona and we haven't had any really cold weather yet but that's okay with me! Enjoy your holiday!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elaine. Glad to have you here. I appreciate the kind words.

DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you, Cheryl, and to all the readers! Today is lovely and sunny and not cold, but tomorrow will be 20+ degrees colder so the cold spell is on its way. Bundle up!

Thank you and the same to you. It is a cold and windy one here. Think it is here to stay!
DeleteStay warm and cozy.
Haven't been able to get comments to publish for quite some time-trying again. Thanks for your many helpful encouraging posts as of late-as always you have a positive view of things. That is much appreciated in the grand scheme of things as of late. Hope you have a blessed holiday. From Western Colorado
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. I try to stay positive when I can - there is enough negativity out there already.
DeleteI am glad you enjoy it here.
(I don't understand why so many have problems with comments, that is frustrating).
You have a lovely one as well.
I am grateful and so Blessed. Hubster has received top notch healthcare and healing perfectly on the "it will be slow" timeline. We have shelter, food, clothing and the ability to cover all our expenses. We have enough 💗
ReplyDeleteSlow is fine - it is still forward! Enough is something we should all be happy with.
DeleteSo happy for you both. ENJOY the holidays.
In a world that has too much bad news, bad behavior, and bad manners, I am so grateful to have found your blog in which you and your readers are so kind, encouraging, and uplifting. I am not surprised, at all, that readers are so loyal and visit your site everyday. Thank you, Cheryl, for all you do to encourage us each and every day. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. Jenny
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to have you here. Thank you so much. I try to be as positive as I can - I think we can find negativity everywhere - so I just want to shine a little. People seem to respond in kind.
DeleteStay tuned for 2026 - good things to come!
Have a lovely holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I am grateful this year to have my son come to join us for dinner. We are doing kind of an early Christmas with him, we have our decorations up. He will most likely be working on Christmas day as cows don't take a holiday.
ReplyDelete*So grateful to have you as my bonus sister!
Aaahhhh - you are just sooooooo sweet. Yes indeed, I think of you as a sister from another mother for sure. I am glad we 'found' each other years ago!
DeleteI am so happy your son will be there. Enjoy your time together and enjoy that tree and decorations - I bet the kitties are!!!!
Happy turkey day to you guys as well. Love you girl!!!!!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving with family! It will be cold and blustery but warm with the love of those sharing the day.

ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Yes mam, they sure do. Life is good and we have so many gifts. Thank you.
DeleteThank you for maintaining your inspirational and kind blog,. I hardly ever comment, but do read it every day.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Thanksgiving in my country, but unfortunately over the last few years we have gained the Black Friday frenzy. I was tempted when I was walking around the shops yesterday with so many sales bargains, but I really don't need anything so came away empty handed.
Thank you for being here.
DeleteGood for you for resisting! We can be so easily tempted to buy, even when we need nothing.
Happy Thanksgiving Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Enjoy your dinner at the campground!!!!!
DeleteI rarely comment but I do read your posts. And the comments section is always so interesting and thoughtful, which isn’t often the case on the “average” blog. Wishing you, Cheryl, and your readers, a blessed Thanksgiving! Carol
ReplyDeleteHello Carol and thank you for stopping by to post! Very nice to have you here. I am glad so many fell at home here.
DeleteThank you and you have a blessed holiday as well.
I don't know how I found you, but I know it's been a few years since I did. It was probably from another blogger. Anyway, I am very glad I did find you! I hope you have a great time with your niece and family today. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. So much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you found your way here as well. Thank you so much. I hope you have a lovely holiday as well.
DeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteI too have been reading for a while without commenting. I enjoy your blog so much and of course all the wonderful comments. My husband and I declined an invitation to dinner today and just stayed home in peace. We had a lovely warm quiet day, watching the parade and having ravioli and salad for supper. Of course a pumpkin pie was here for dessert. Happiest of Thanksgivings to you! Dale
Hello Dale. I am so glad to have you here. Please stop by and comment anytime. It sounds like you had a wonderful day. The simplest days can be the best ever. Yours sounds perfect. Thank you so much.
