We are ALL Refillable!

Hello all on the 24th day of July!!  So hard to believe.  I hope you are all well and feeling blessed on this lovely day.  Prayers and good wishes for all that are under the weather and for those who just feel lost.  We are here and we are praying for you all.

It is a pretty morning.  Warmer than the past couple days and a bit more humid.  It looks like the "muggly" will be back with a vengeance as the weatherman says!!  Appears it will all stick around for the remainder of the month.
Make sure you stay hydrated and inside if possible and keep water out for ALL the animals as well.

We have heard about 'half empty' and 'half full' all our lives.  Until I saw this I never really thought about this saying - "the glass is refillable".
Boy oh boy is that the truth.  No matter what is going on in your world - whether you see things sort of bad or sort of good - always know that you can make decisions, choices and live in a way that you get more!
Don't let life drain you of all your goodness.  There is always hope.  Never give up.  Pray, work hard, and put one foot in front of the next.  You may not get the answer YOU think you should get, but you get the answer that God and the universe provides.  I know there are non-believers here, and that is OK, but this is how I think.

I do believe we have control to an extent, and yes, you need to ask, you need to try, and you need to step forward.  Never give up.
Have hope, have faith and if you are inclined - PRAY!

Many things are just perspective.  You may see yourself as poor - but another will see you as rich.  You may see yourself as rich - another will see you poor.  We all look at things differently and we all live differently.  Never judge yourself against others.  You are you and that is enough!
Do your best and move forward inch by inch.  That is all anyone can do.

I hope you all have a lovely ending to your week.  Stay cool if at all possible and do good things.
SMILE and spread CHEER!

  1. This is a great reminder Cheryl. We most certainly have control, especially in how we react to things. Staying positive has always worked for me. No matter what I may go through, there is someone else going through so much more.
Have a great day and stay cool!!

    1. Thanks, and you are so right. Someone is having a worse day - guaranteed. We need to just stop and breathe and think before reacting.
      You stay cool too!

  2. "Never judge yourself against others." That is where we get into trouble, by coveting, thinking we are unworthy of good things. Whenever I kvetch about something, I think "someone else would love to have what I possess". Too much negativity in our lives will sour our disposition, kind of like vinegar. The quote about the glass being half full/half empty is perfect. I posted it on my Pinterest board Quotes and wrote it in my quotes book.

It is will an unpleasant day today but I checked the August forecast, and if it is correct, the 90* temps are gone. Of course, that can always change. Those days are the days we stay in and work in the house. Always something to do. Can you imagine not having anything to do? How boring.

Going to finish canning green beans this morning. Need to rearrange the shelves so the older beans are in front. A task like that is very satisifying.

Stay cool, you and Bits! I just loved the picture you posted the other day with Bits looking out the window.

    1. Indeed, we get ourselves into trouble sometimes by judging ourselves against others. I am a firm believer - you don't like me, what I have or what I do - big woop! I am living my life the best I can, all I can do.
I hope 90's leave in Aug. - kind of seems backwards this year. Seems Aug. is usually the hot one. I went out and worked and had to stop by 9:30AM.
Yum on fresh beans canned. Mmmmm
      Thanks - stay cool!

  3. At times I think we don't have much until I look at others in my own community who have so little and I realize how blessed we actually are. We should always remember this. There are some people in life who would love to have what we have.

    1. AMEN! It is always the case. It is sad but true - so many people in this world would think you and I are wealthy and would love our lives.
      We are truly blessed.

  4. Another great post, Cheryl. “Never give up.” Many days I do feel like giving up and running away. But I force myself to go forward. I do pray every night and sometimes in the middle of the day. I’m fortunate in so, so many ways and I try to remember that. Thanks for your wise words and kindness.

    1. Thanks. I think we have all thought about running away at times in our lives. Some do - and I doubt if they really ever lose the problems!
I pray all the time - so many times a day. Different things or people just bring it out of me! Yes mam, we all need to remember just how fortunate we are.
Each morning is a new start.

  8. I posted something similar on Facebook awhile back, and I have always tried to start each and every day joyfully and remembering that we have all that we need. Each day is what we make of it and if we start the day with gratitude and joy, we will be at peace.

    God bless.

  9. Thank you, Cheryl. Good thought to keep in mind. :) Busy day today and busy weekend coming up. Temps getting warmer here too. Maybe will be working indoors rather than outdoors. I have things inside that need doing. :)

    Stay cool, y'all!
