Wishing You ALL a VERY Merry Christmas

Today I am taking just a moment to wish you all a very wonderful holiday.  May your celebrations (whatever you do) be lovely and your bounties many.  We all celebrate different things and have different religions - but I feel I can send blessings to all - no matter what your belief.

I pray daily for peace on this earth - amongst people and countries and nations.  I pray for each of you all and your families.  I pray we all have many more years together, doing and sharing what we enjoy.

May you and yours have a blessed day and weekend.  Enjoy any family and/or friends that you are with.  Life changes quickly - so each person is so important.
PLEASE stay safe and warm.
I love each of you, and wish you only the best life has to offer.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting my little venture in blogging.  It brings joy to my heart that we have so many from so many different areas - that care and share and genuinely love one another.  We can overcome any diversity.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!

I will be back to regular posting (weekly wrap-up) on Monday

  7. Merry Christmas Cheryl! I hope you have a sweet Christmas and I loved what you say here that each person is important. : ) It makes me think of my sweet Italian grandpa who would sit in his chair so quietly and many times seemed so overlooked and I remember him getting black socks for Christmas...I always felt bad because I thought to myself as a little girl that that was a boring gift but I know Love was what was needed and the best Gift now. Many times I would just sit with him and watch television with him because he liked me just being there...

Your quilts you made were so neat btw! I totally forgot to mention that. Very special and unique in a wonderful way! It's so nice that you saw your sister and brother.

Be safe and keep warm, I so appreciate your blog here. This is the way blogs should be, interaction and kindness one to another. : ) : )

    1. Thank you. Yes, the simple things can mean the most. Just BEING with someone can mean more than all the gold in the world.
Give me a boring gift - if I need it all the better. To me, all gifts are precious.
I do love all the gals here - there is such a neat bond and caring. Like a bunch of old friends having tea and socializing.
Thank you so much. Be safe and have a great holiday!

    1. Forgot to sign in again. LOL! In my defense, we were up until 1 a.m. and I'm not as young as I once used to be! This is a very different Christmas for us, but it will be a GOOD one.
      Blessings to all,
      Elise

  10. NOW it's officially Winter! Dang! We got pelted by ice and now snow. Not even expecting temp to hit zero today. We'll be gathering in front of the fireplace and enjoying family time. Pup keeps asking to go out. Then, when hubs opens the door, he backs up, silly dog! "You want me to go out and poop in THAT?!?!".

I ditto all that Cheryl said. Safe travels if you're going anywhere.
Cheryl, I think that beautiful quilt is going to be well loved. That's the great thing about homemade blankets. They're like hugs that transcend time and distance. My mom and aunt are still keeping us warm and loved all these years later!

I finished my puzzle yesterday and hubs is gonna brave the cold basement and look for another one. If not. I can embroider while watching Christmas movies. We've watched While You Were Sleeping, The Christmas Card, and A Season for Miracles. Next up is one of my favorites. Journey Back to Christmas with Candice Cameron and Oliver Hudson. Love the peek into Christmas 1945!

Merry Christmas to all and to All a blessed weekend!!😁

    1. LOL - I bet the pup backed up! I would too. I did put a litter box in the greenhouse - added some bark and leaves so it seems like outdoors!!!! Oh the things we do for our babies.

I am the same way with afgans mom made - it just feels good to wrap up in them. A hug.
I love the movie the Christmas Card - one of my favorites. I haven't seen it for a few years now.
Have a nice time snuggling up and stay put.
Thank you. Have a wonderful holiday!!!!!

  18. Marry Christmas, Cheryl and fur babies. God bless you now and in the coming New Year. He surely takes good care of us, doesn’t he?
It seems a lot of ladies enjoy your blog, like I do.
It also seems that Christmas is just a bit different than many of us had planned. Icy roads, fevers, etc. But, Jesus came to give us Himself and the Father (and Spirit)….that is the real Christmas and can’t be spoiled.
    Warmth and comfort to all~

    1. Thank you Mary! Yes mam, He sure does take care of us - even when we are blue - He is always there. The events of the day will be different for a lot of people, but the meaning is always the same and will be forever. I am so thankful for that most wonderous gift.
Stay safe and warm. Merry Christmas

    2. “even when we are blue, He’s always there.” That takes strength, courage and faith to say, dear Cheryl. I’m so sorry for the blues bothering you. I hate them. Praying for you 🙏🏻
