Holiday Lore

Well, we are just a few days from Christmas.  Yes - this year will be different, but that is OK.  Christmas isn't about food and presents, there is a much BIGGER reason for the season.  Never forget the true meaning behind Christmas.

Last night I got to see the planets align (the Christmas star) for just a couple moments in between clouds.  It was bright, but not as bright as thought it would be due to the haze.  That is OK, as the symbolism was still in my heart, thinking of that Christmas over 2000 years ago.

AMEN - be so very thankful for everything and everyone

Click on this to enlarge and read.  Oh mercy - I hope there are enough pickles for everyone!!!!  Good fortune in the coming year is needed by all.

                                                                  I think this is sweet

Sweet stories to tell the kiddos

Just a sew sweet stories of old  and hopes that you SMILED!
BE MERRY AND HAPPY

  1. I’ve never seen the one about cutting down the tree representing the crucifixion of Christ - it was very touching ❤️

  2. In other normal years 😄 we do 4 gifts.
    'Something you want
    Something you need
    Something to wear
    Something to read'
One gift on Christmas to celebrate God's gift to us and three on Epiphany to celebrate the gifts from the Wise Men.

This also allows one to take advantage of sales 😆
