Oh Sweet Memories of Childhood

Sharing a few pictures of days gone by and Christmas past.  I sure do miss the innocence of childhood and family gone.  It is nice sometimes to sit and look back and remember.
I hope the younger family members will be able to do the same someday and remember their Auntie fondly.

Me and my brother Dick.  I always called him Dickie Doll!!!  (Still do sometimes to tease him) LOL.  He was my hero!

My paternal Grandma and I.  There are only a couple pictures of her and I together.  Christmas at her house.

Daddy with my big Christmas bear!!!!

My sweetie and Momma on Christmas day at Mom's - before the rush!

There was always a load of goodies at Mom's even as adults!

                                                                        Me and Santa

Top - me and my big old bears - oh my!!!
My sis Linda  and I on Christmas morning.  Sure can tell it was the 50's can't you?  I miss her.

I remember those days with love.  I know not everyone had "good old days" - and I am sorry for that.  I have been blessed in life with a wonderful family and lots of wonderful memories.

Todays prayer in the paper:
"O God, bless all for whom the holidays bring no joy.  Comfort the mourners; free the depressed; shelter the homeless; and protect our soldiers overseas.  Amen"
AMEN
