Happy Tuesday to all. I am writing this on Monday evening and posting very early on Tuesday - as I plan on being out the door early to vote. Please be sure you do too. It is very important.
Monday was a cool rainy and breezy day. I did get out and walk a little and did a little outdoor work in between raindrops! It was so dreary. I tell you, I now arise an hour earlier by the clock (thank you kitties and time change). The day seems sooooooo long. Sounds crazy, but it is dark by 6PM and there is still plenty of day to do stuff. I rather liked it getting dark at 8PM or 9PM - closer to bedtime!!
I love this - don't let anyone take your JOY!
My advice - do not panic, do not stress - it will not help.
Try your best to not reach that panic stage about anything - health, money, politics, jobs, etc. DON'T LET STRESS/PANIC WIN!
You are empowered in your thoughts and in your actions - you and you alone. Stuff is always going to happen in life that we don't like - but we have the power to react in a positive light.
Always be respectful to everyone. Do not start debate with family or friends. Love everyone. Be kind. YOU be the bigger person and do the right thing always.
Life happens. Many in our group have been through much lately - storms, destruction, health issues, family issues, financial issues, lots of loss, etc.
May we all just embrace each other with kindness and appreciate one another. Boost each other in every way we can.
Negativity will never win over a positive and healthy attitude and way of life. You have the power to make your life happy. DO IT!
As the song says Que Sera, Sera - what will be will be! We just make the best of it. We got this!
Have a wonderful and blessed day to all.
PLEASE NO POLITICS!
Hi Cheryl. This is a great reminder for all of us. I'm a bit worried that things may turn pretty ugly over this election but there's nothing I can do about it except to stay in my lane and try to be positive.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a wash out here. It rained all day and we ended up with a total of 4 inches.
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
I am back already. I was amazed at y location - in and out quickly.
DeleteRained here a lot - we sure didn't get that much. Today is windy and warm and just gloomy looking at the moment.
As with all things in life - we can only do what we can do! I like that "stay in my lane and try to be positive"!
Wonderful advice !!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very dismal day at mine yesterday but I did get caught up on ironing and some small organising tasks. An Asian flavoured noodle soup was made using some veg that had looong past its best before date and a mystery packet of frozen meat that turned out to be two pork steaks, but was warming and yummy. When will I ever learn to label things correctly??
Take care, let’s hope for a smooth week.
Louise
Yay for getting caught up and little things - that always helps me feel accomplished.
DeleteYour soup sounds just lovely! I have had a few of those mysteries as well - LOL!
Glad you were able to put in your vote quickly this morning.
ReplyDeleteHope the weather improves. It's cool here with temps just above the freezing mark during the day, just below at night. It is November and expected. No s NO w in the forecast though and that I appreciate greatly.
