Kitchen 101

Just a couple of tips to help us all out.  Canning season is fast approaching and it always good to have a quick reference to measures.
I like how the measurements have conversions as well.

Hope these help someone.

  5. Remember when this used to be taught in school. My kids learned from me but most of their friends don't know it. Very funny to watch 17 year olds try to bake and cook when they can't figure out measurements. Most of these kids will be going away to college in August and don't know basic life skills.

    1. I sure do. Home Economics class. It was one of my favorites. Mom taught me cooking, baking and sewing (and lots of other stuff) - but Home Ec was great fun too.
I also did 4-H for many years as well.

It is amazing the things that no one teaches or knows any more.

  7. Thanks for the chart. For some reason, I have a mental block and can't remember measurements so this will come in handy.
