Thanks and Good Wishes

Today I just want to say "thank you" to all you gals for tagging along on this little journey of mine.  I appreciate each and everyone of you so much.
You all add ideas, thoughts, and perspectives that maybe others hadn't thought of.  I love that we share personal moments and great ideas.  We can laugh at ourselves and give each other things to laugh about.  We share and comfort.  We have fun don't we?

I love how we encourage each other and sympathize with one another.  We have all had bad moments and good moments and more of each will come.  That is life.  But we are there for one another and that is amazing to me.   We come from different countries, different walks of life and different economic situations - yet we seem to care for one another.  THAT IS LIFE!
I wish we saw more of this kind of behavior each and every day amongst the general populace.  I seem to hear so much bad, so much judging, so much evil, and so much depravity.
I love my little place here, with a group a really wonderful souls!

So go out there this week and make someone's day by saying a kind word or offering a hand up.  Maybe it is just a smile, a hello, a 'how is your day', reaching an item on a shelf, opening a door...…. the list goes on.
You may change a perfectly awful day for someone.

Be the miracle you would like to receive.
God bless you all and THANK YOU for being here.
I look forward to our journey this year.

  4. Kindness is not a hard thing to be, nor does it take a lot of your time. We have taught our son to be kind and polite. He holds doors open for people and they are amazed and have told us that it is rare for the younger generation to do this. He is now 20 years old and still kind and polite. It really doesn't take much. Your kindness could be the nicest thing in someones day. Thank you Cheryl, for being you.

    1. Thank you.
It sounds like you have a child that you can be very proud of and it also sounds like you should be proud of yourself for raising a good human being.
We need all of those that we can find!

  5. I love my blogging community too. I learn a lot from the blogs I read, including yours. Sometimes I think blogland is much nicer than being out and about seeing folks.

    1. I agree - it appears many bloggers are just the nicest people. Like minded people do tend to drift together. Maybe that is it!
      Thanks for being here.

  6. I won't read the negative blogs. I only read the friendly blogs like yours. I know life isn't just rainbows and unicorns but it should be. If I want gloom and doom, I'll turn on the news.

    1. Absolutely agree. The News and the world seem to be a cesspool of anger and hate. I like unicorns!!!!! We are proof life doesn't have to be nasty.

  8. Cheryl I truly believe there are more good people than bad out there. We hear about the bad as this sells the News. We are hearing the loud minority. The good majority are like us, getting on with our lives and making a difference with those we interact with. This positive interaction, I believe, has a domino effect. Good equals more good. Those horrible people are just loud and obnoxious. Dont be taken down by their baseness. Look for the good and be the rainbow in peoples lives. Maria Angelo is the person that introduced me to that idea. I love it and try to be it. Go be a rainbow for someone. How wonderful is that?

    1. What sweet words and thoughts. I know there are good people, caring people, loving people. But you are right, the bad is so loud and in your face and they are trying sooooo hard to change everything.
I sure hope all the goodness of the world prevails.
Thank you for those lovely words our sweet rainbow!

  9. I like the friendliness, too. I never understood the troll thing with people stirring up trouble just for fun. I avoid those places now. Life is simply too short to deal with poopyheads!

  11. Thank you for a positive, encouraging blog Cheryl. It is so nice to visit a place where people build each other up instead of pulling each other down. Kindness is NOT something we should be frugal with and you remind me of that often. Thank you.
