Wrapping Up and Merry Christmas

Happy Christmas Eve.  It is about time for Santa to make his appearance for all those little ones.  I can only try and remember the anticipation and joy they feel.  That was such an exciting time.  I so enjoy watching all the young ones in my family.  They just get so excited.
For me, I am reflecting on the real reason for celebrations of the day.  Not all the gifts and food and partying - but the REAL GIFT!

And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold. I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11

It is a cool morning here.  We will not be having a white Christmas - just a soggy one.  It is going to be warming all week - with chances of rain every day.
I plan on making my snack mix today - and getting out the things I will be taking to brother's tomorrow.

I wish each and every one a very Merry CHRISTmas!  Enjoy every moment with your family and friends.  Make wonderful things happen, as these will be the memories of the future!
I will not be doing a post on Christmas Day.

Stay safe and well and have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

Today I hope to make a small batch of cookies for my daughter. She arrived in the US last evening and I'll see her tomorrow! :) I also plan to go to church this afternoon.

  7. Blessing Cheryl I pray you have a wonderful Christmas and make many wonderful memories. We have already had our family gathering as all the kids are going to the other side of their families so my hubby and I will have a quiet Christmas Day. It will just be us and the cat.

  12. Merry Christmas, hope Santa left lots of cans of beans and peas under your tree...I read somewhere that canned veggies are the new Iphones when it comes to gift items.

    1. LOL - well, I would rather have veggies than an I Phone! Never had one, and don't really want one.
      Merry Christmas.

    2. Amen to that, I only use the so-called "dumb phone" not a fan of overpriced electronic junk. Besides, Apple is in the process of firing thousands of their poor employees and replacing them with AI. The consumers have the power of the wallet, I wish more people would boycott products that some of these predatory corporations sell...especially the ones that are putting employees out on the street to make a few cents by using AI.

    3. Anon - I have my old flip phone and that is plenty. Just mainly for emergencies - use it now and then. I will keep it until I can't!
AI is taking over much - not a fan at all.
