I had a post ready for today and changed my mind at the last minute. I don't know why I do that except that something moves me.
I get so tired of negative stuff and drama in the world. All the negative posts we make and all the garbage we drum up isn't going to change a thing! EVER!
I am so humbled to have so many lovely people following along on this little journey of a blog. You guys are the best.
We are all different - we come from different countries - we are different ethnicities - we have different religious or spiritual beliefs - some came from money - some from extreme poverty - we are ALL different!
YET - we all have things in common. We care, we love, we share, we try - we are one.
Will we change the world? Maybe not - but like the pic above says - we may change it for one person! If we all change the world for one person - well, that would make big difference. Wouldn't that be lovely?
We can't stop the world happenings. Stuff is going to happen as the powers that be have a plan.
We CAN however change the world in bits and pieces. Do good, Be positive. Have faith. Spread only positive and not hate or fear or panic.
We each have a place in this cosmic thing - and how we respond matters.
BE WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thank you all for coming along on this journey with me. I love you all and admire you all. You have no idea how many MOMENTS you have helped me get through. I love how we seem to be one big EXTENDED family.
Wishing you all a blessed day and week!
PS - Your continued thoughts and prayers for Adi seem to be working. Please don't stop!!! Thank you.
Lovely post, thank you! And I agree, we can only control ourselves!
ReplyDeleteIndeed and I choose to be as joyful as possible. I don't won't the negative and fear intruding my life.
DeleteThank you!
Traveling Oltmans, I live in Menifee, California and I was traveling down the 215 the other day and I saw a sign that said OLTMANS construction, or something of that sort. Is that you?
DeleteDear one---I agree with all you said. I am so glad I found your wonderful blog and your followers also. So many good folks---brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteGlad you found the blog as well. It is a great group for sure!
I will be continuing to pray for Adi!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! I tell my kids/family...plant good seed! We can try and then see where it goes. You never know, you may make a huge difference bin a person's life. It may not even be yielded today... perhaps down the road. I know I remember things people did for me or said to me long ago. Often, they resonate with me now lots more than they did then. Let's just love those we encounter the best way we can. Thanks so much!
Wonderful words and advice. Yes, we may not see the results of our actions or words - but they can sure impact others. A kind word or gesture may stop someone from doing the ultimate final deed. YOU will never know - but they will.
DeleteThanks for planting a good seed!
Great post.
ReplyDeleteThanks dear - I think you know much of what I speak. It just gets old. Let us just lift others up and be positive. That will make a bigger difference.
DeleteExcellent, common sense post! It all goes back to the Great Commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself".

Continued prayers for sweet little Adi, her parents and the whole family.
ReplyDeleteI recently did a study of Ecclesiastes [Life in a Fallen World, by Dr. Benjamin Shaw] and your words ring so true. We can choose to encourage one another. To hold each other up. To live with gratitude instead of angst: "And also every man who eats and drinks and sees good in all his labor--it is a gift from God." (Ecc. 3:13)
Thank you for this post, Cheryl. Grateful for YOU and your readers/commenters today. --Elise
Elise - Amen. Why not do the good thing and the positive thing - it takes no more and maybe less than it does for negative.
DeleteLove that verse!
THANK YOU!
